Trip Highlights
  • Set out on the sacred Do Dham Yatra, visiting the revered shrines of Kedarnath and Badrinath—where Kedarnath’s ancient Shiva temple stands majestically amidst the Himalayas, and Badrinath’s Vishnu shrine emanates divine energy along the banks of the Alaknanda River.
  • Seek blessings at Kedarnath, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and the foremost of the Panch Kedar temples, where Lord Shiva’s timeless shrine offers spiritual solace and the path to liberation.
  • Enter the holy precincts of Badrinath Temple, one of the 108 Divya Desams, where Lord Vishnu is worshipped in deep meditation beside the sacred Alaknanda River.
  • Visit Rudraprayag, the sacred confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers, a place where spiritual tranquility meets breathtaking Himalayan scenery.
  • Explore Mana Village, India’s first village near the Indo-Tibetan border, known for its centuries-old traditions, panoramic mountain views, and legendary connections to the Mahabharata.

Arrive at Majnu-ka-Tilla/Kashmere Gate and begin your Do Dham Yatra with a scenic drive to Haridwar, the sacred city nestled along the banks of the Ganges. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and unwind after the journey. Later, explore the vibrant Bara Bazaar, famous for its local handicrafts, spiritual items, and aromatic spices. You may also visit Shantikunj, a serene spiritual retreat known for meditation and calm surroundings. As evening sets in, witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, where illuminated lamps drift across the holy river, creating a deeply spiritual experience.

In the morning, check out from your hotel and begin a scenic drive to Guptkashi, a town steeped in mythology. En route, stop at Tapovan in Rishikesh to complete your yatra registration before continuing through the breathtaking Himalayan landscapes. According to legend, Guptkashi is where Lord Shiva hid from the Pandavas before revealing himself in Kedarnath. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax for a comfortable overnight stay.

Begin your day with a drive to Sonprayag, the gateway to the sacred Kedarnath Dham. From here, board a government-operated jeep (at an additional cost) to reach Gaurikund, the starting point of the pilgrimage. You may choose to trek or opt for a pony or palki ride, enjoying breathtaking views of cascading streams and scenic mountain trails along the way. Upon reaching Kedarnath, offer your prayers at the revered Kedarnath Temple and admire the majestic Nandi statue standing guard at the entrance. Later, descend back to Gaurikund, take the jeep to Sonprayag, and get driven back to your hotel for a restful overnight stay.

After checking out in the morning, set off on a scenic drive to Pipalkoti, a charming town tucked away in the Garhwal Himalayas. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. You may take a refreshing walk through lush forests, admire the gentle flow of mountain streams, or explore the local market for traditional Garhwali handicrafts and regional delicacies. You can also visit nearby temples to soak in the peaceful atmosphere and experience the local way of life.

Today, proceed on a spiritual journey to the revered Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu and set between the Nar and Narayan mountain ranges, with the majestic Neelkanth Peak as a stunning backdrop. Begin with a sacred dip in the Tapt Kund, a natural hot water spring, before entering the temple for darshan. Experience the divine atmosphere as you offer prayers at this holy shrine. Later, visit Vyas Cave, associated with the Mahabharata, and explore Mana Village, the last Indian village before the Tibetan border. After the tour, get driven back to Pipalkoti for an overnight stay.

After checking out, drive towards Rishikesh, making a stop at Rudraprayag to witness the stunning confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers. Continue to Devprayag, the sacred site where the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda merge to form the Ganges. Upon arrival in Rishikesh, check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, immerse yourself in the serene Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat, where floating diyas and chanting create a spiritually uplifting atmosphere.

In the morning, check out from your hotel and transfer to Delhi. Upon arrival at Majnu-ka-Tilla or Kashmere Gate, continue your onward journey. This marks the conclusion of your memorable Do Dham Yatra.
