Trip Highlights
  • Embark on a spiritual journey through the sacred Char Dham Yatra, exploring timeless temples and breathtaking landscapes, each offering serenity, devotion, and divine energy.
  • Begin with Yamunotri Temple, the source of the Yamuna River, where you can take a holy dip in the Jamunabai Kund and seek blessings from the river goddess.
  • At Gangotri Temple, the origin of the Ganges, bathe in the sacred Bhagirathi River and feel the purity and divine presence of Goddess Ganga.
  • Visit Kedarnath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, where spirituality meets the majestic beauty of the surrounding Himalayan mountains.
  • Conclude with Badrinath Temple, where Lord Vishnu is believed to have meditated, set amidst the Nar and Narayan peaks and the holy Alaknanda River, radiating peace and divine energy.

Upon arrival at Haridwar Railway Station or Bus Stand, begin your journey to Barkot, with a brief stop at Rishikesh for yatra registration or verification, if required. After completing the formalities, continue your drive through the scenic hills, valleys, and rivers of Uttarakhand. Upon reaching Barkot, check in to your hotel and unwind, enjoying a peaceful overnight stay.

Today, drive to Janki Chatti, the starting point for your trek to Yamunotri. From here, begin your ascent, choosing to trek on foot, hire a pony, or travel in a palakhi (at your own expense). Along the way, soak in the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

Upon reaching Yamunotri Temple, take a sacred dip in the Jamunabai Kund, believed to purify the soul, and offer your prayers during darshan. Afterward, retrace your steps back to Janki Chatti, from where you will be driven back to your hotel in Barkot for an overnight stay.

Today, check out from your hotel and drive to Uttarkashi. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the day at leisure. You may visit local temples such as Vishwanath Temple, home to an ancient Shivling, and the Shakti Temple, renowned for its historic trishul, believed to be thousands of years old. You can also explore Nachiketa Tal, a serene lake associated with the legend of Sage Nachiketa, offering a peaceful retreat amidst nature.

Today, drive to Gangotri, a sacred pilgrimage nestled in the Himalayas. Upon arrival, take a holy dip in the Bhagirathi River, the source stream of the Ganges. Visit the Gangotri Temple, an 18th-century shrine dedicated to Goddess Ganga, built near the rock where King Bhagirath is believed to have meditated for the river’s descent to Earth. This site marks the divine arrival of the Ganga, making it one of Hinduism’s holiest places. Later, return by road to Uttarkashi for your overnight stay.

Today, check out from your hotel and drive to Guptkashi. As you journey through the breathtaking Himalayas, take in panoramic views of lush valleys, winding rivers, and towering peaks. En route, stop at the sacred confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers, a site of deep spiritual significance. Upon arrival in Guptkashi, check in to your hotel and spend the day at leisure. You may also visit local temples such as the Vishwanath Temple.

After check-out, drive to Sonprayag. From here, you may take a government jeep (at your own expense) to Gaurikund, the starting point of the trek to Kedarnath. The 14 km journey winds through breathtaking Himalayan landscapes, featuring towering peaks, flowing rivers, and dense forests. You can choose to trek on foot, hire a pony, or travel in a palaki to reach Kedarnath.

Upon arrival, visit the sacred Kedarnath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, renowned for its profound spiritual significance. After darshan, check in to your hotel and relax for the night.

Begin your day with a breathtaking Himalayan sunrise, casting a golden glow over the sacred landscape. After check-out, start your descent from Kedarnath to Gaurikund, enjoying panoramic views of the Chaukhamba, Mandani, and Kedarnath peaks. From Gaurikund, you may take a government jeep (at your own expense) to Sonprayag, where your vehicle will be waiting. Continue your drive back to Guptkashi, and upon arrival, check in to your hotel and unwind for a relaxing evening.

After check-out, drive to Pipalkoti, a charming town nestled in the hills. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the day at leisure. Stroll through the bustling local market and interact with the friendly locals, or explore the town’s small temples, reflecting the region’s rich spiritual traditions. Nature enthusiasts can enjoy a peaceful walk through the nearby forests, crossing gentle streams and listening to the soothing sounds of birdsong.

Start your day with a drive to Badrinath Temple. Upon arrival, take a sacred dip in the Tapt Kund, the temple’s natural hot water spring, believed to purify the soul. Enter the temple to offer prayers to Lord Vishnu and immerse yourself in the serene, divine atmosphere.

Next, visit Mana Village, the first Indian settlement near the Indo-Tibetan border, renowned for its mythological significance and picturesque landscapes. After exploring the village, return to your hotel in Pipalkoti for a restful overnight stay.

Today, check out from your hotel and drive to Haridwar. En route, visit Devprayag, where the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers merge to form the sacred Ganges, followed by Rudraprayag, the confluence of the Mandakini and Alaknanda rivers. As you descend, enjoy the changing landscapes from the Himalayan mountains to the plains. Upon arrival in Haridwar, if time permits, visit Har Ki Pauri to witness the enchanting Ganga Aarti.
