About Ghorepani Poon Hill:
The Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is an easy to moderate trek and is regarded as one of Nepal’s most scenic trekking routes. Along the way, trekkers are treated to breathtaking views of iconic Himalayan peaks such as Fishtail (Machhapuchhre), Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli.
The trail winds through lush green forests adorned with vibrant red rhododendron blossoms, creating a stunning natural landscape. Along the trek, you will also get a glimpse into the traditional lifestyle of the local Gurung communities as you pass through quaint mountain villages.
Historically, the route traces ancient trade paths once used by Nepalese traders, adding a cultural and historical dimension to your journey. The highlight of the trek is Poon Hill, renowned for its spectacular sunrise views, where the first light of day illuminates some of the world’s highest Himalayan ranges.
This trekking route offers a delightful mix of landscapes, alternating between dense forests, open fields, and rolling hills, making it a memorable experience for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.
The Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek takes you through picturesque villages and charming hamlets, offering stunning views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks along the way. You will have the opportunity to experience the traditional lifestyle of the native Gurung communities and enjoy their warm Nepalese hospitality.
A major highlight of this trek is witnessing the magical sunrise from the Poon Hill viewpoint, where the first rays of sunlight illuminate the majestic Himalayan ranges, including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre, Nilgiri, Annapurna South, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, and Lamjung Himal.
The trek package ensures a comfortable experience, with hotel pickup and drop-off in a private vehicle. It includes a stay in 3-star hotels for 2 nights each in Kathmandu and Pokhara, with breakfast provided. During the trek, accommodation is arranged in cozy lodges and tea houses along the route.
Meals during the trek—including breakfast, lunch, and dinner—are provided. The package also covers essential permits, including the National Park Permit and the Trekkers’ Information Management System (TIMS) Permit, along with all required documentation.
To ensure safety and convenience, the 7-day package includes an experienced and friendly guide, as well as porters (1 porter for every 2 clients). Medical support is also available, with a first aid kit and emergency travel arrangements in place to handle any unforeseen situations.

The Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek passes through eco-friendly zones. Avoid littering local sites or campsites, as fines may be imposed for non-compliance.
Night trekking is not recommended unless explicitly included in the itinerary with a guide, as it may lead to accidents.
Avoid using earphones during the trek to remain aware of your surroundings.
Minimize the use of plastic bags and help maintain ecological balance at all destinations.
In case the trek needs to be canceled, inform the authorities promptly.
Follow all state-government guidelines, including social distancing, frequent hand sanitization, and the use of masks. Provide a valid ID during check-in.

Professional guides are provided for your safety, personal attention, and to enhance your trekking experience.
Neat and well-maintained vehicles with experienced drivers will be provided, especially for hilly terrains.
Camping facilities are basic; luxury should not be expected. Electricity may only be available at certain locations.
Mobile and laptop charging points may or may not be available at campsites.
Personal expenses, items of personal nature, and meals not mentioned in the package are not included.
Carry dry snacks and refillable water bottles to save costs and stay hydrated.
Pack light; carrying excessive luggage can make the trek more difficult.
Consult a physician before undertaking the trek due to its moderate to difficult gradient. Carry basic medications and a first-aid kit.
Warm clothing is essential, as temperatures can drop to -4°C. Wear proper trekking shoes for safety and comfort.
All activities are weather-dependent; heavy snowfall or adverse conditions may affect trekking routes.
Children under 7 years of age are not recommended for this trek due to challenging gradients.

If you Cancel your Holiday
You or any member of your party may cancel their travel arrangements at any time. Written notification or an e-mail to that effect from the person who made the booking must be received at our office. The cancellation charges applicable are as per the published cancellation policy below :
If we change or cancel your holiday
We do plan the arrangements in advance. It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your travel arrangements.
Occasionally, we may have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. If there are any changes, we will advise you of them at the earliest possible date.
We also reserve the right under any circumstances to cancel your travel arrangements by assigning reasons to you.
If we are unable to provide the booked travel arrangements due to reasons beyond our control (e.g. bad weather):We shall first try to offer alternative dates for the tour if the tour hasn't already commenced.
If the tour has already commenced, then we shall refund the booking price/fee charged to you on a pro-rata basis depending on the portion of the tour utilized by you.
In all circumstances, however, our liability shall be limited to refunding to you the price we charged as tour fees.
If you want to change your holiday plan
After confirmation of services, if you wish to change your travel arrangements in any way (e.g. your chosen departure date or accommodation), we will do our utmost to make these changes but it may not always be possible. Any request for changes must be in writing from the person who made the booking. All cost incurred due to amendment will be borne by you.
If you have a complaint
If you face any problem during your holiday, please inform the relevant supplier (e.g. your hotelier, transporter etc.) and/or our representative immediately who will endeavor to set things right. If your complaint is not resolved locally, please follow this up within 28 days of your return home by writing to us, with your booking reference and all other relevant information. However, please be advised that while we are happy to assist you in the redressal of your complaint, if any, we will be able to extend only our best efforts in managing/coordinating your complaint with the respective service provider. All third party service providers are independent contractors who are at no time under our control or supervision.
All booking vouchers and tickets will be provided 3 days before departure.
